Intro: Each week, I post a blog dedicated to the “specials.” Like all fine establishments, there’s usually a seasonal or weekly special that deserves its own separate menu. Think of this blog as a limited menu with a lot to offer.
What: The best of the week. It could be a haul from the weekend or various ways I styled a classic piece. Whatever it may be, this weekly post intends to offer something *special.*
Why: I often receive inquiries about some of my favorite pieces, whether they be new or old. Instead of having to keep track of Instagram messages and links, I thought it might be easier for everyone to just have everything in one place each week.

Ingredients: These high waist destroyed jeans are my favorite weekend jeans. I’ve been looking for a pigmented pair of black denim that didn’t have an acid wash or fade in the laundry. After some internet sleuthing, and fervent scrolling on LIKEtoKNOWit, I came across this pair.
*Did I mention they’re on sale and under $40??
Description: These do run small, so if you can’t find them in store, I recommend sizing up one size. I personally love Abercrombie denim because they are fitted and tend to have a longer inseam for those of us with longer legs. The rips hit perfectly on the knees for a classic look. So far they haven’t faded in the wash, which was my only concern. For less than $40, you really can’t go wrong.
Tip: I like to pair these with a classic look and neutral layers. A lot of my inspiration for styling these jeans comes from Fashion Jackson.

Ingredients: This bag is the perfect everyday/everywhere bag. The durable canvas gives this bag structure. It’s large enough for all the things: laptop, iPad, journal, wallet, headphones and more. They’re also customizable and you can pair any canvas with your choice of embellishment. Of course, my choice was the neon BADASS stripes.
